Do I qualify for Grant Funding? How to tell

The Basic qualifications you need to qualify for grant funding assistance are:

1) A citizen of the United States
2) Over the age of 18

If you meet those two qualifications then there is grant money available for you. But you have to keep in mind, people who give grants give them for specific reasons or worthy causes. For instance you might receive grant money to make your home more energy efficient. Or you might get grant money to help you go back to school. The trick in obtaining grant funding is to find the right organization that gives money for what you need. Then it is just a matter of contacting that organization or those organizations and correctly filling out their requested materials.

The Grant Funding Network (www.grantfundingnetwork.com) currently has a grant available for people looking to start a business. I was talking to them the other day and out of the 35 people who have applied for that specific grant only one person filled out the requested material properly. This specific grant required an application and a copy of the entrepreneurs business plan. There was only one person so far that has sent a copy of their business plan with the application. Make sure to read the instructions completely and follow them exactly.
